The Bear has been producing quality bespoke fenders and fancy ropework for over three years. Although Bear Knots is a relatively new company the quality of the work produced is such that The Bear has already produced the working and display fenders for the childrens book characters nb 'Muddy Waters' and nb 'Jolly Boatman'.
The Bear has also produced fenders for the Oxfordshire Narrowboats Hire Fleet and Fancy Ropework for a number of working boats.
Whilst the Bear has been busy producing fenders, Mrs Bear has not been busy doing nothing, exactly the opposite in fact. Mrs Bear produces quality Rag Rugs, "just like your Granny used to make", for all types of use.
